Highlights

Nathan laid out the goals for today’s session. We’re taking a deep dive into LSAT success, how to not pay for law school, and we got some background into the Demon’s origin story. Nathan teased the first secret early, slow down to speed up.

Transitioning into the main course, time management was Nathan’s first secret. Stressing out during practice tests (and on the actual test) won’t get you anywhere. Successful students ignore the clock, prioritize accuracy over speed. There’s no penalty for wrong answers, only rewards for correct ones. LR was up next (rest in peace LG). Nathan went over the tests’ most common flaw, the Necessary and Sufficient conditions, and Correlation vs Causation. Since we’ll all be doubling up on LR, they’re even more important. RC was next up. Incredibly, when you’re being asked questions about a passage, all the information comes from the passage! RC questions are Must Be True questions.

Don’t pay for law school! The Demon provides plenty of resources to get you there. The Ask Button is available to all students, connecting you to free tutoring on any LSAT question, and with a Live subscription you can attend a wide range of daily classes at flexible times. We calculate the LSAT to be worth about $15,000 per point improvement. Would you rather have that five minutes in line at the grocery store to watch videos, or $15,000 dollars? Nathan rounded out the class with some Q&A.
