Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between Basic, Premium, and Live?

Basic gives you access to drilling—the Demon’s killer feature. The world’s best AI tutor learns from your mistakes and provides you with just-right challenges that keep you optimally motivated and improving. Plus you can do timed sections and full timed tests, with the Demon keeping track of your mistakes to make drilling even better.

Premium unlocks more of our world-class explanations, 23 additional tests you can’t even get in LawHub, the weekly proctored test and review, Nathan’s Thursday Live class, and Admissions Hour.

Live gives you all of the above, plus Ben’s live class, Nathan’s Tuesday class, and multiple live classes seven days a week. All of our teachers are home-grown LSAT Demon students and Thinking LSAT listeners who scored in the 99th percentile on their official test. Each one offers their own spin on our irreverent, commonsense approach—come study with us and see how easy it can be.

Why do I need an LSAC PrepPlus subscription?

As of September 2020, LSAC mandated that any test prep company that wishes to use officially licensed LSAT test questions must require their users to purchase a PrepPlus account. It is a one-time fee of $99 that users can buy through the Demon or from LSAC directly.

Fee waivers cover this fee, so if you are a student with an approved fee waiver, please see the fee waiver discounts offered below.

What do you offer for students with LSAC fee waivers?

With a valid LSAC fee waiver, we offer four months of our Basic Demon plan for a one-time fee of $30—or, if you prefer, 20% off any monthly plan indefinitely.

To redeem one of these offers, please sign up for a free trial account. Then, email a PDF of your fee waiver to help@lsatdemon.com and specify what plan you’d like.

Do you offer other discounts?

At this time, the only other discount we offer is a military discount. With valid proof of current or past service, we offer 20% off any subscription level.

To redeem this discount, please send proof of service to help@lsatdemon.com. Proof of service can include a copy of your DD Form 214, Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), a Service to School (S2S) welcome letter, or a proof of service letter from your administrative or personnel department.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?

Yes. If you upgrade before your renewal date, the Demon will immediately upgrade your plan and credit any unused portion of your month to your upgrade payment.

If you downgrade before your renewal date, you will keep your current plan until your renewal date; then, the Demon will automatically downgrade your plan and charge you the new, lower rate.

If you cancel your plan, you will keep your current plan until your renewal date; then, the Demon will automatically downgrade your plan to Demon Free.
