Highlights

Today's class questions reminded us not to bring our outside assumptions or common sense into bad answer choices because it's not our job to make nonsensical answer choices make sense. Whenever we work on Logical Reasoning questions, we should ask ourselves what the author is trying to argue to us and how they're messing up. This sets us up to make strong predictions and engage with the passage. It also helps us decode wrong answer choices that mention irrelevant information or reference things not stated in the argument. The second an answer choice stops making sense, we can and should strike it out.
