Test 132, Passage 3 — Dental caries
Highlights
Four out of five dentists agree that when societies become agricultural, they eat more carbs and get more cavities. No, wait, that was today’s passage, Test 132, Passage 3 — Dental caries. Even though talking about dental health isn’t the most fun thing in the world, we found a way to engage with the passage and practice our Comparitive Reading skills by connecting the ideas between Passage A and Passage B. What did Author A and B agree on? What did they disagree on? What is acorn flour? What on earth is a tuber? By answering these important questions and more, volunteers made short work of this passage and learned something about teeth (and ourselves) along the way.
