Is the answer possible, or is it proven? That simple question helps you spot and eliminate answer choices that seem possible but aren’t proven by the passage. When applying the “must be true” standard in reading comprehension, look for evidence in the passage that directly supports your choice. There’s one correct answer—clearly supported—and four that aren’t.
