When we don’t grasp the actual argument, we risk filling in gaps ourselves and missing its flaws. Today, we looked at a strengthen question that seemed tricky at first, but once we saw the limits of the author’s premises, it was clear the conclusion overreached. That insight made the correct answer obvious.
