Week 1, Series 2: Active Reading
Test 112, Passage 3 — Hormones
Highlights
The LSAT is a reading test, not a vocab test. Unfamiliar words—like those in today’s dense passage on hormone homeostasis—are opportunities to practice contextualization. Ask: (1) What is the author using this word to support? (2) What parts of the word are familiar? (3) How can I clarify as I keep reading?
Zoe once saw the LSAT as a frustrating puzzle, but now sees it as an enjoyable tool for mastering how to learn—and for analyzing even the toughest debates.
