Highlights
We unpacked the LSAT’s most common flaw: confusing necessary and sufficient conditions (not to be confused with necessary and sufficient assumptions). We talked about why the easiest way to crack if-then statements is to make them make sense on a commonsense, intuitive level rather than trying to use abstract, formal logic.
In passing, we discussed how to predict Parallel Reasoning questions with a red flag vs. dealbreaker mindset, why you should stop diagramming in LR immediately, and which LR tips made the biggest difference for me when I was studying for the test.
Francesca is a 2L at Penn Carey Law with two years of teaching for LSAT Demon under her belt. Since studying with the Demon in 2021, she has believed that with effective study habits and consistency, anyone can see how this test makes perfect sense.
LSAT Journey: 157 → 176.
Set yourself up for success with a solid foundation in LR. Over this four-week course, Francesca will take you through the fundamentals of the LR section. We’ll focus on reading and attacking arguments—no gimmicks or tricks needed!
