Highlights:
Before diving into the content, I addressed a question around general reading comp strategies and how to improve at it. We then jumped into six "level 5" LR questions and paid explicit attention to the overall process and prediction as a key piece to that process. I demonstrated my approach for the first question, and asked different volunteers to help me out with the remaining questions. One specific topic that we deep-dived into was the "absolute numbers vs percentages" flaw (PT 40, Section 3, Q23). We then pivoted to reading comp where we took turns practicing active reading. While we only got to 3 of the questions, I recommended that the class work on the remaining five questions associated with the passage in their own time.
