Week 4, Series 2: Comparative passages
Highlights
We got into the nitty gritty of comparative passage types on this Thursday afternoon! Marissa spent the top of class discussing the different ways we can expect comparative passages to interact and techniques for developing our internal dialogue as we read. Pausing after both passages to identify the key point proved extremely helpful in keeping the two conflicting conversations about griots straight in our minds.
Marissa fell in love with the LSAT and believes that anyone is capable of buckling down and crushing this test, just like she did in taking her score from 155 to 173. Her favorite LSAT pastimes include poking holes in Logical Reasoning arguments and cracking the codes in Logic Games.
In Foundations, we’ll build good habits as we work through one passage together practicing active reading and prediction. This approach will make it easier to understand and identify the answers when you get to the questions.
