Highlights
Class started with a general discussion about LSAT Logic Games and how to avoid feeling overwhelmed by rules. Ben explained how to deal with one rule at a time—and how to decide which rule to start with—when making worlds. He demonstrated his approach on Game 4 from the experimental section of Test 92.
We then tackled three Logical Reasoning questions. Ben reminded students that, on a Conclusion question, the answer should paraphrase the conclusion that is explicitly stated in the passage. A Strengthen question gave some students trouble because they interpreted more than one answer as a defensive strengthener. Ben explained why only one answer was unequivocally correct. Finally, Ben demonstrated how to predict the answer to a Sufficient Assumption question.
After class, Ben answered general questions about application timelines. He also advised a student who expressed uncertainty with their worlds in LG: When you’re confident with each step, you can be confident with the final result.
The LSAT will make sense when you start focusing on one question at a time—do the question, review it, learn it. You got this.
Cofounder Ben Olson covers a different section of the LSAT every week. After Ben invites you to do the practice questions on your own, he walks you through each one.
