Highlights
Today’s logic game had some tricky ordering rules. Nathan first attempted worlds based on S but decided to abort when it turned out not to eliminate any rules. He explained that it’s okay to change your mind if your first split isn’t as effective as you thought it might be. We then reviewed students’ diagrams, including worlds based on T and worlds based on H.
Nathan explained that in LSAT Reading Comprehension—and in legal practice—it’s less about knowing things and more about learning things. Stay focused by feigning interest in the passage even if it’s a topic that you know nothing about.
Logical Reasoning questions are easier when you predict the answers. Nathan demonstrated this approach as we drilled Weaken, Strengthen, and Necessary Assumption questions. We also discussed the LSAT’s most common flaw: confusing sufficient and necessary conditions.
I’m not yelling at you—I’m yelling at the LSAT. My goal is to show you how easy this test can be.
