Highlights
We started off class discussing the role of prediction across every single section of the LSAT. We then focused on what prediction can do for us with logical reasoning specifically. For each question we read the passage, identified potential issues, predicted the question types they could ask, and predicted answer choices. We talked about how not seeing our prediction reflected in the question or answer choices doesn't mean it was wrong or that they could not have included it, and that prediction is an exercise in developing a strong internal dialogue to interact with the passages. We even saw the elusive one passage two separate questions which supported that idea!
Marissa fell in love with the LSAT and believes that anyone is capable of buckling down and crushing this test, just like she did in taking her score from 155 to 173. Her favorite LSAT pastimes include poking holes in Logical Reasoning arguments and cracking the codes in Logic Games.
Prediction mode is on! Learn how to do LR the easy way by predicting the answers. With attention to detail, we will pick apart the arguments to show how powerful predictions can be.
