Highlights
Class started with a general discussion about Logical Reasoning and the relative importance of accuracy versus timing on the LSAT. Ben explained that the best way to get faster is to get better at understanding what you read, at making solid inferences, and at destroying arguments—skills that you develop by focusing on accuracy, not speed.
We covered a variety of LR questions today. One question led us into a discussion about the flaw of inferring causation from mere correlation. Ben explained that while correlation alone doesn’t prove causation, it is evidence of causation. We can strengthen the evidence by strengthening the correlation. We also reviewed Disagree, Weaken, and Must Be False questions. After class, Ben answered general questions, including how to incorporate lessons into your study schedule.
The LSAT will make sense when you start focusing on one question at a time—do the question, review it, learn it. You got this.
Cofounder Ben Olson covers a different section of the LSAT every week. After Ben invites you to do the practice questions on your own, he walks you through each one.
