Highlights
Adding drama into the passage can offer a benefit beyond helping us fake interest. Drama can help us discern the what the author cares about and why. Today, Ala and three volunteers demonstrated how adding drama can make us the experts of the passage. We reviewed every question but number 10 by the end.

Ala is the perfect LSAT teacher for RC especially. When I first signed up for live classes, one of her classes was the first I attended. Immediately I started seeing improvement in my understanding of the exam. She taught us how to read by slowing down and she emphasized accuracy. This style of reading was one I was totally new to. Once I started trying it in practice however, not only did my understanding increase as mentioned before, but I started seeing and am still seeing an upward trend in my scores. I feel like a better reader in general because of Ala. Beyond class, Ala's soothing ambiance and transparency regarding her own LSAT journey is something I found encouraging. The conversations she allows students to have with her before and after class make it feel like we are not alone on our studying journeys, which is helpful for those who may be struggling with loneliness or feeling isolated. She is a huge mental health advocate and an overall kind soul. Learning from her has been an honor.Makayla R.

I find the structure of Ala's classes very helpful to my understanding and ability to attack RC. I like when Ala reads the passage and allow students to dissect each sentence. This allows me to be more engaged with the class and watch others struggle a bit with the ability to solve the message together.Lexi L.

Ala is a great tutor and an amazing person to talk to about anything LSAT.
