Highlights
We started with a class poll to find out which Demon features students wanted to learn more about. Abigail demoed Demon’s Choice drilling and explained how to use the drill filter and difficulty settings.
We then dived into the syllabus content, starting with Reading Comprehension. A quarter of the class said they disliked or were bored by today’s passage on Langston Hughes’s poetry. Nathan explained how to make RC more enjoyable by feigning interest in topics that might not appeal to you.
Our logic game involved grouping cookbooks into seasons. Several students efficiently solved it in three worlds. We reviewed the Rule Substitution question as a class.
Lastly, we drilled Paradox, Necessary Assumption, and Must Be True questions in Logical Reasoning. Nathan reminded students to resist diagramming and don’t read the stem first.
I’m not yelling at you—I’m yelling at the LSAT. My goal is to show you how easy this test can be.
