Highlights
We started class with a discussion about making worlds in Logic Games. Ben clarified that the purpose of worlds isn’t to completely flesh out every possible solution, nor is it simply to write down a few random working scenarios. The purpose of making worlds is to simplify the game by baking rules into your diagram so that you don’t have to worry about them again. We tackled an intermediate-level ordering game, and Ben explained how to create worlds based on the most constrained variable.
A student asked how LG skills can be applied to the other two sections of the LSAT. Ben explained how to treat each LR passage as a mini-game. We also recommended Erik’s Cross Training LG → LR class and Chris and Ala’s Demon Daily episode: Treat Reading Comprehension Like Logic Games. We wrapped up with Logical Reasoning and reviewed Weaken, Necessary Assumption, and Reasoning questions. After class, Ben answered questions about how to get faster on timed sections, how to get comfortable with making worlds, and how to review logic games most effectively.
The LSAT will make sense when you start focusing on one question at a time—do the question, review it, learn it. You got this.
Cofounder Ben Olson covers a different section of the LSAT every week. After Ben invites you to do the practice questions on your own, he walks you through each one.
