Test 16, Passage 3 - Catastrophe

Highlights

How do we turn abstract language into more concrete and specific examples we can relate to? Breaking down the passage into understandable chunks makes the whole passage much easier to digest. Today in class, Kevin read an interesting passage about large and complex interactive systems and how the author wasn't a big fan of the traditional method endorsed by other officials. Once Kevin finished reading, student volunteers led the way on the questions by definitively eliminating wrong answers like Mark Cuban rejecting bad business models on Shark Tank.
