LSAT sentences often make us feel like we’re reading a foreign language. For some students like me, we actually are. This class will give you all the tools needed to create common-sense understanding by using all the clues and context provided by the text.

Test 25, Section 2, Q17 — Nicotine
Highlights
Today we honed our LR reading skills by translating the LSAT into simpler language. Because if you can't explain in your own words what a passage said, then you probably don't understand it as well as you think. The first question stood out as one that doesn't neatly belong to a particular "question type."

Erik's great at helping students see the problem with the argument!Megan N.
Erik is amazing at dumbing down the question to the point that anyone can understand. For every convoluted sentence, whether it is LR and RC, he really knows how to break it down sentence by sentence, and every few words.Amelia B.

Erik is a phenomenal tutor! He really gets into the nitty gritty making difficult questions easy. His enthusiasm for the test is crucial while studying for the LSAT, and positive attitude always makes ZOOM classes a great time.Dom D.
I really enjoy Erik’s new approach to getting us students to engage with the material. Asking us to say “stop” or “I object” to LR/RC stimuli and answers is really honing the skills that Ben, Nathan, and all of the LSAT Demon team’s members demonstrate. Not only does it help us cut down on distracting information, but it will also help us avoid traps and save time without sacrificing accuracy.
