When Chris was a Demon student, he referred to Necessary Assumption questions as Yes-essary Assumptions because he knew the author had to say “Yes” to the right answer. In three NA questions, Chris encouraged students to treat them like a lawyer would. Master the evidence, attack the argument, and imagine the author as a hostile witness on the stand. We win the case by forcing him to accept the correct answer choice.
