Highlights

If you want to do Logical Reasoning the easy way, you need to recognize arguments and resist conclusions. With each of the questions on tonight’s syllabus, Nathan guided the class to think about ways to object before moving on to the question. We also discussed argument parts and normative vs descriptive claims. Nathan encouraged students to resist diagramming arguments.

Next, Nathan demonstrated how to predict the main point in Reading Comprehension. He emphasized that when you invest time up front, the latter half of the passage will start to feel predictable.
