Highlights
The logic we are asked to assess on the LSAT is just common sense. As Nathan tackled Logical Reasoning questions in today’s class, including Paradox, Strengthen, Necessary Assumption, and Parallel types, he broke down arguments without using complex formal logic vocabulary, diagramming, or any tricks or gimmicks (and explained why those are all useless).
As Nathan broke down a Reading Comprehension passage, he encouraged students to read proactively and take an interest in the passage. In explaining one Tone question involving a highlighted quote in the text, Nathan discussed the importance of understanding the surrounding context of the passage to fully understand the quote. When we see blue highlighting, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t consider the previous few unhighlighted sentences as well.
I’m not yelling at you—I’m yelling at the LSAT. My goal is to show you how easy this test can be.
