Logical Reasoning

Test 124, Section 1, Q10 — Eat more vegetables

Test 123, Section 3, Q24 — Romantics

Highlights

Today’s class was a perfect example of how the answers to Strengthen questions can be easily predicted. First, we identify the premises and conclusion, then figure out how the premises don’t prove the conclusion. As we evaluate the answer choices, we continually refer back to the argument’s conclusion and ask if it’s really being strengthened. Four of the answer choices won’t strengthen the conclusion, or they will be weaker strengtheners than the correct answer.
