Reading Comprehension

Test 7, Passage 1 — Labor force

Highlights

Today’s RC class focused on improving speed by prioritizing accuracy over exploring wrong answers. Our strategy involves critically reading passages to understand the key players, perspectives, and purpose, then tackling questions with a mindset that most answer choices are wrong until proven otherwise. Using our active reading framework of “What?” “So What?” and “Now What?” we critically engaged the author to understand their point and purpose better. Robert then demonstrated how building a solid main point foundation helps with all the passage’s questions and showed how being armed with passage evidence allows us to eliminate wrong answers quickly.
