Logical Reasoning
Test 114, Section 1, Q9 — Asteroid
Test 114, Section 2, Q12 — Medical condition
Highlights
We may have had an ersatz Chris, but there was certainly no ersatz coffee in our systems this morning as the class was hyped and energized to tackle LR arguments! We put our science caps on and even took a trip down memory lane to freshman year Stats 101 to help us call BS on bad reasoning. During a tricky weaken question, some of the class was stuck between two answer choices, but others were able to help us demolish one of them. Just another reason why study buddies can be so beneficial on our LSAT journey! Beatriz and the class also learned an important lesson to pause when reading except questions to really understand what the question is asking us before moving on to the answer choices.
After being out of school for almost a decade and having a defeatist mentality of "not being good at standardized tests," Beatriz felt wary about taking on the LSAT. However, once she discovered the Thinking LSAT podcast, she took on a new perspective about conquering this test. Beatriz believes that anyone can slay the LSAT--all you need is a bit of common sense and a dash of swagger!
