Test 8, Section 1, Q7 — Radiation

Test 132, Section 2, Q22 — Drug company manager

Highlights

There is serious power in making examples while we read arguments. Today, we made up a case for a drug company’s purple toothpaste that just wasn’t selling very well, which helped us pick apart the (real) conclusion that the company should run a new marketing campaign for the product. This showed students that we should never be hesitant to spend a little extra time understanding the argument, as it pays off when we get to the question and the answer choices.
