Highlights
When working through a Reading Comprehension passage, it’s important to take small bites and chew slowly. Start by identifying the subject—who or what is the author discussing? If we don’t grasp who the characters or subjects are, it becomes difficult to understand their actions. This principle applies throughout the entire passage: if we rush ahead without fully understanding what we’ve just read, our confusion will only compound.
Today, we methodically read a Reading Comprehension passage about a unionization effort, spending the majority of our time understanding and analyzing the text. By taking our time to understand the author’s main point and the means by which she conveyed it, we were able to make strong, accurate predictions for all seven questions.

Erik is one of my fave tutors. He's so kind and understanding and he takes his time to ensure we all understand what we're reading.Dom D.
I really enjoy Erik’s new approach to getting us students to engage with the material. Asking us to say “stop” or “I object” to LR/RC stimuli and answers is really honing the skills that Ben, Nathan, and all of the LSAT Demon team’s members demonstrate. Not only does it help us cut down on distracting information, but it will also help us avoid traps and save time without sacrificing accuracy.Amelia B.
Erik is awesome. Funny, relaxed, and easy to work with.Patrizia M.
Erik is a phenomenal tutor! He really gets into the nitty gritty making difficult questions easy. His enthusiasm for the test is crucial while studying for the LSAT, and positive attitude always makes ZOOM classes a great time.Megan N.
Erik is amazing at dumbing down the question to the point that anyone can understand. For every convoluted sentence, whether it is LR and RC, he really knows how to break it down sentence by sentence, and every few words.Mike E.
