Ben opened class with a quick lesson on the LSAT Demon approach to Reading Comprehension: read slowly and carefully, and seek out the author’s main point in everything you read. After all, on Reading Comprehension, they're all Main Point questions. Responding to student questions, Ben discouraged people from note-taking or highlighting on RC, and he assured students that better understanding will automatically lead to more speed.

Many students found today’s RC passage to be challenging because of its language and quirky subject matter. Ben gave an active reading of the entire passage, then answered the questions by deliberately taking the time to predict the answers.
