LSAT Testimonial - Joe C

I began seriously studying in the summer of 2025 after briefly trying another prep company’s textbook and hating it. I took my diagnostic test and received a 165, which I was very pleased with. I attributed my strong starting point to my background in philosophy and my general love of reading. 

I first discovered LSAT Demon after stumbling across the Daily Demon podcast. Hearing the mantras “read for comprehension”, “forget about the clock”, and “one question at a time” changed my LSAT performance almost instantly. Just ten days after taking my diagnostic test, I scored a 171 on my next practice test. 

From that point on, I was sold on the Demon. It allowed me to pair my natural abilities with the most advanced practice software in the industry. Paired with excellent and humorous explanations, which encouraged me not to rely on gimmicks like diagramming. The biggest gift LSAT Demon gave me was helping me believe that the LSAT really was easy. 

A short time later, I began answering questions on the Ask Button as a volunteer. This is where my abilities really skyrocketed. I found that teaching the test was the best way to learn it, and I would encourage any student consistently practice-testing in the 170s to apply to join the team. 

In the six months leading up to the April 2026 LSAT, I didn’t take a single four-section practice test. Instead, I completed a couple of sections each week, and drilled relentlessly. I found that the official test felt exactly like the practice sections, and I had no problems with stamina or test fatigue. 

I declared victory after receiving a 177 on my first official LSAT.
